Air Pots are a gardening revolution!

Air Pots root pruning containers are the only plant pot that actively enhances growth.

How Air Pots Work

Unlike standard plastic pots, the shape of the pot wall guides each root towards an air hole. Air dehydrates the tip, prunes it, and stimulates root branching. This happens naturally when roots are exposed to air in the absence of high humidity.  The roots are effectively “burned” off, causing the plant to constantly produce new and healthy branching roots.  If roots are not exposed to air, they continue to grow around the container in a constricted pattern. The root effectively stops growing and will not grow round and round the inside of the pot (pot bound). The plants' energy instead is focused on growing new feeder roots, creating a dense, healthy root system

The process repeats until there is a mass of healthy fibrous roots.

The air holes also ensure perfect drainage and aeration of the growing medium, creating ideal conditions for healthy bacteria to release more nutrients to the plant.

Take apart and store flat

Air-Pot containers come flat, are assembled around a base, and are held together with one or more fixings.

This means that removing or potting up plants is extremely easy, and at the end of the season, the containers can be stored flat.

Toughly constructed from recycled plastic the containers are reusable and last many years.

Instructions tip:  Follow the photos and install the top screw first.  In the rare case where the holes are difficult to line up near the base, resulting in not being able to install the bottom screw, trim the plastic base with scissors to reduce the diameter. Sometimes the bases have a little bit of leftover residual plastic on the edge from the molding process.

Note:  Cable ties can be used if you misplace the screws.
