This Square copper sock will prevent your roots from leaving the pot & heading towards and blocking the AQUAvalve.  These squares also help to sterilize your water and prevent root rot and other unwanted issues.

The squares will last several seasons but it is advisable to replace or clean the squares at the beginning of each season to prevent any disease from being transferred to the present plant.
